Ranjiv gandhi

Ranjiv was the eldest son of Mrs . Indra Gandhi. His was born on 20th august 1944 at Bombay.he was educated in soon public school,dheradoon.he got this higher education at Cambridge university,london. He served as a pilot in Indian airlines from 1972to1981.he left his job to join politics.he was elected as members of lok shabha from something(u.p.)in 1981.he was re elected to lok shabha in1985 and 1989 respectively.he became the youngest prim minister of India after the death of his mother Mrs Gandhi in November 1984. Rajiv Gandhi was also the president of congress party since 1984.during his prime ministership he entered into as agreement with Santa harchand Singh longowal to solve the Punjab problem.he also made what is known as Assam accord.he visited many foreign countries as the p.m.of indai.he was killed in a bomb blast in tamilnadu sate in may 1991
