Dr.avul Parker jainulabdeen Abdul kalam was born on 15th October,1931at rameswaram in tamilnadu.dr.kalam became the 11th president of India in.2002. dr.kalam helped to develop India.first indigenous satellite launch vehicle(SLV-3) and made indai an exclusive member of space club. dr.kalam ten took up the responsibility of developing indigenous guided missiles.he was responsible for the development and operationalizations of AGNI and PRIHVI missiles.he also led the pokharn-nuclear test which made indai a nuclear weapon sate.dr.kalam is one of the most distinguished scientist of India with the unique honour of receiving honourary doctorates from 30 university and institutions.he has been awarded the coveted civilian awards panda bhushan and panda vibhusan in 1981 and 1990 respectively.in 1997,he received the highest civilian award Bharat ratna.his focus is on transforming indai into developed nations by 2020.
